At the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics, the University of Vienna seeks to appoint a

 

Visiting Professor

of

International Business

 

(full time, for the period of 1 October 2024 - 30 September 2025)

  

The position:

The successful candidate should specialize in the area of International Business, for instance have a special focus on entry mode and market selection strategies, Multi-National-Enterprises (MNEs) and Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) internationalization or born global firms and international networks.

The main purpose of this professorship is to support International Business Administration Master students for the period of one year (01/10/2024-30/09/2025) in finishing their master studies. This includes esp. the supervision of the Master thesis. The teaching obligation includes 8 semester hours per week. In line with Master thesis supervision, the courses are mainly related to the final phase at the master studies, e.g., delivery of the Master conversatory and participation in oral master theses examination as examiner or chair.

·        Doctoral degree/PhD

·        Outstanding research achievements, excellent publication and funding record, international reputation

·        Proven leadership qualities

·        Gender and diversity competence

·        Experience in designing and managing large research projects

·        Enthusiasm for excellent teaching and supervision at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level

·        Willingness to take on organisational and administrative responsibilities within the Faculty and/or the University
